I have a brand new clutch , pressure plate, and resurfaced fly wheel. The transmission is a t98 attached to a t90 bell housing with a spacer and adapter none of that is new and was installed and working previously. The engines running great…

6/4/2016 · Hello all this is my first post on the forum so please have at least a little bit of mercy on me 😉 Currently in the process of finishing restoration on my ’41 MB . Started it up to drive it a litte bit and check functionality of everything and so far it has gone fairly smooth. My only question is a possible clutch adjustment that needs to take place.

9/11/2012 · Installed new clutch , pressure plate, throwout and pilot bearings recently. I am having difficulty getting the throwout bearing to move the clutch fingers enough to depress the clutch . The rod is adjusted as far as possible. Dropped trans again and measured the height of the clutch fingers versus the old pressure plate clutch fingers.

The pedal has to be pushed nearly to the floor to change gear and starts to bite after lifting it up a fraction. Id like the biting point to be about 3/4 from the top if possible. Is it a simple job to adjust , if it is adjustable? G.
